The Aquios SP220 ScalePlus Tankless Water Heater Scale Reduction System is engineered to prevent and reduce harmful scale accumulation in both tankless and traditional water heaters. This point-of-use system features a 5 micron polypropylene sediment filter that effectively removes dirt, sand, and other particulates, while its proprietary salt-free scale prevention media protects against limescale buildup and corrosion. Designed for residential applications, it offers a high flow rate of up to 14 gallons per minute through 3/4 inch NPT connections, ensuring efficient water heater operation and extending the life of your plumbing. The system is effective in water hardness up to 22 grains per gallon and includes a pressure-relief feature for secure installation.
