Van Zyverden Asclepias Hello Yellow Support the Monarchs Set of 3 Plant Roots Yellow Full Sun Perennial Fragrant 1 lb

BRING HOME THE BUTTERFLIES! Asclepias is also known by its common name "Milkweed", among several others. It is a herbaceous perennial. Tropical, multitasking milkweed attracts monarch butterflies that use the plant as a source for nectar. Monarch butterflies lay eggs on this plant, and in turn, the resulting larvae (Caterpillars) use the plant leaves as a food source. Plant en masse to create curb appeal and to help support threatened wildlife. It is very easy to care for, deer and rabbit resistant, and will still flower while it produces seed-blooms all season. Starting with our sizable roots instead of seed, they assure a full season of bloom. It can also be grown as a container plant. Hello Yellow is also known as butterfly weed. The seedpods are often used in dried flower arrangements. Essential plant if you want to attract butterflies to your garden. Plant this perennial in a location with full sun exposure.
